Participants line up for coffee at the Relay for Life coffee station.

Optimal Station, a provider of customized self-serve kiosks, raised money for Relay for Life, a community-based fundraising event for the American Cancer Society last week at Legacy Park in Alachua, Florida.

For the first phase, Optimal Station launched a coffee station and a Donation Station at San Felasco Tech City on Tuesday, April 19 through Thursday, April 21, according to an email to Kiosk Marketplace.

The coffee station offered 16 gourmet selections at $1 per cup, with all proceeds benefiting Relay for Life. Cups included QR code links for additional donations.

The Donation Station dispensed kindness challenge cards that encouraged spreading kindness in the community. The machine's ad topper displayed facts about cancer and kindness.

The company installed the Future 360° Station and Awareness Station for the grand finale to engage kids and adults.

A video game on the front screen of the Future 360° Station required users to help in the fight against cancer by collecting virtual coins as they fell. Once enough coins were collected, the machine dispensed an ice cream treat as the reward. At the conclusion of the event, Optimal Station donated the monetary equivalent of the total number of virtual coins collected.

The rear screen hosted a photobooth where participants captured the moment and then shared their pictures via social media with a custom bordered photo frame so they would never forget when and where they were when the photo was taken.

The Awareness Station shared a slide show of information about support for the fight against cancer, its survivors, the impact on their families and more.
